Celebration of signature of the Power Supply agreement

between Al-ddasra Company and Jaba’ Electricity Company

Under the auspices of Governor of Jenin, Major General Akram Al Rajoub, an agreement was signed on Sunday, 2-12-2018, between Al-ddasra Industrial Company for producing solar energy and Jaba’ Electricity Company in Jenin. Al-ddasra was represented by Mr. Fakhri Al-Barghouti, Mr. Jihad Obaidi, Mrs. Nasim  Shaheen, and a number of the company’s shareholders, meanwhile Jaba’ Electricity Company was represented by Mr. Saeed Alawneh, Chairman of  Board of  Directors, Abdul Rahman Ghannam and Mr. Adnan Hussin, in addition to a number of the governorate’s staff,  representatives of national associations.

In his speech, Al Rajoub blessed the signature of the agreement that goes in line with the strategy of His Excellency, President Mahoumd Abbas, to promote energy independence in the State of Palestine, achieve development, and employ hundreds of Palestinians. He stressed the importance of the governorate's role in overcoming all challenges facing this vital project. "It is important to support it in order to improve the living conditions of the beneficiary families, and to strengthen community partnership" he said.

In her turn, Mrs. Naseim Shaheen, spoke on behalf of the Al-ddasra, reviewing the company's vision and objectives and contribution to achieving sustainable development, and working on productive projects, that contribute to reducing problems of poverty and unemployment among the most affected families. She also stressed the importance of the project which will "contribute to support the national economy in general, and provide a decent life of the beneficiary families in specific. "We very much thank the Governor of Jenin for patronizing the signature of the agreement, and many thanks also goes to Jaba’ Electricity Company, the main partner of the project, for its prominent role in the success of the agreement, and overcoming of challenges" she added.

In his turn Mr. Saeed Alawneh, Chairman of Board of Directors of Jaba’ Electricity Company, blessed the agreement's signature, and stressed the role of Jaba’ Electricity Company in overcoming all obstacles facing this important project. "Jaba’ national Electricity Company will always assist and support needy families" he ended.
