Organization's Statement:
Our national project, under the title (the collaborative partnership), was launched at the beginning of 2009, representing the most underprivileged Palestinian families. We seek to make a shift from being an economic burden to a productive segment using the most innovative means and providing a decent life for our families. We seek through our immediate and future production projects to provide employment opportunities for new competent graduates and contribute to the alleviation of the problems of poverty and unemployment for the most underprivileged families.
For our national humanitarian initiative to succeed despite all the challenges, in particular, the challenge of capital provision, we exerted a great effort and action within our own families. We have created a plan of action that took us almost seven years to develop. Our plan entailed (forming family provision associations, and rationalizing expenditures at all levels of our daily needs).
We proposed our idea to many national and official bodies. It was adopted in the year 2014 by His Excellency Dr. Omar Kittaneh, former Minister of energy, who encouraged us to work in the field of alternative energy, given the importance and need of this sector to the Palestinian market. Dr. Kittaneh presented our idea to the Palestinian former Prime Minister Dr. Rami Al Hamdallah, who encouraged the formation of a legal and regulatory body for the work of this group to better develop and organize around. We conducted research on national legislation related in particular to the (cooperative societies, charitable associations, non-profit companies, etc.). We found that there were some legal issues with such legislation, so in order to sustain our national social humanitarian idea, and by the guidance of official competent legal authorities, we have reached the most appropriate legal form; the establishment of a private company in order to preserve the rights of everyone and the sustainability of work.
The registration and licensing of our idea was completed on 21/6/2015, under the name of (Ad-dasra’ Industrial Shareholding Company LTD) at the office of public company controller of the Ministry of National Economy.
We named our institution "Ad-dasra’ " for the Arabic meaning it entails, which is a ship with firm sails that moves strongly at sea, which symbolizes freedom, hope and willpower. This reflects our dreams and new hope and to make a change in the circumstances of our life.
